About Kelly
Kelly Smith Cassidy started studying astrology at age 12. She took the usual astrologers route, reading everything she could get her hands on, with stacks of astrology books at her side and studying every chart and method she could. She gave readings to all of her family and friends and people started to send referrals to her. When she was 19 years old, she gave her first paid reading.
Kelly joined the Association for Young Astrologers around this same time participating in thier events in Arizona.
When she was 21, Kelly had her first profound spiritual awakening which opened the doors to helping others experience Oneness. Today, her astrology practice is geared towards helping her clients in seeing their dharma and evolutionary truths towards Oneness.
At 22, Kelly was asked to start teaching astrology for a group of 10 students in South Lake Tahoe. She still offers in-person workshops for small groups.
At 23, Kelly became a student of Noel Tyl's (a fellow Arizonan too) where she learned timing techniques.
At 25, Kelly was chosen from an essay and astrology competency competition for a young astrologers scholarship (astrologers who had not yet had their first saturn return) for the first Heaven & Earth Workshop in Bali in 2005 with astrologers, Steven Forrest and Lynn Bell. Kelly had read all of Steven's books up to that point and knew that Evolutionary Astrology was the path she wanted to pursue.
In 2015, Kelly assisted and hosted webinars for Astrology University for such astrologers as Demetra George.
Kelly was in Steven Forrest's Apprenticeship Program for about a decade until receiving her Master of Evolutionary Astrology level in 2017.
Kelly is endlessly fascinated with Evolutionary and Transpersonal Astrology for its capacity to help her clients beyond "pop" or "fortune-telling" astrology. Steven Forrest is her main teacher with the late astrologer, Dane Rudhyar as a guiding light in her current direction. She is currently working in expanding her skills now in Transpersonal Astrology, with astrologer, Ray Couture, who was a student of Dane Rudhyar.
Kelly is also a second-generation professional artist with sculptures in galleries in the western US. She is also a Burning Man honoraria grant artist. You can see her art website here:
